Kingdom Business Season 2: What to Expect
The second season Digitalmarketingwar.com/ of BET+’s hit music-oriented drama series, Kingdom Business, is currently in production in Atlanta. The show, which follows the lives of gospel singers, songwriters, and producers in the Atlanta music scene, was renewed for a second season in February 2023.
Season 2 will pick up where the first season left off, with Denita Jordan (Yolanda Adams) facing new challenges as she tries to maintain her status as the “Queen of Gospel.” Rbel (Serayah), the up-and-coming gospel star with a troubled past, will continue to be a threat to Denita’s crown.
Other returning cast members include Kiandra Richardson as C.J. Jordan-Walker, Tamar Braxton as Sasha, and La’Myia Good as Essence. Newcomers to the cast include Loretta Devine and Louis Gossett, Jr., who will play Denita’s parents.
The show’s executive producers, Jgen.ws DeVon Franklin, Holly Carter, Kirk Franklin, and Michael Van Dyck, have said that Season 2 will explore the themes of family, faith, love, and redemption in even greater depth. They have also promised that the music will be even more powerful and soulful than in the first season.
Kingdom Business Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on BET+ in early 2024.
